An awning will give you shade on the outdoor are and give you a cooler place to sit. It will also block the UV rays from the sun. You will also be able to use you outdoor area in a light rain or drizzle. An awning will also shade your patio doors or windows to lessen the heat that comes through the glass to heat up your home in the summer. If you have air conditioning, the system will not have to work as hard to keep your home cool.

The awning will take up to about a 30 KM wind. If you feel it is too windy for the awning you can retract it part way to still maintain some coverage. The awning does not have to be full extended when you are using your outdoor space.

We can install on all types of siding (wood, vinyl, cement board), brick or stone.

We can install on two storey wall, under the soffit of one storey houses, or on the roof with roof mount brackets if there is not sufficient headroom.

Depending on how many mounting brackets are required, a typical install of one awning takes an hour to one and a half hours.

Once an order is placed it generally takes about 3 week to receive your awning. Rolltec manufactures the frame and the covering and assembles the system within 2 and a half weeks and then ships it out. The frame can be delivered directly to the customer or to us. Once it is delivered, we coordinate schedules with the customer and, depending on weather conditions, have it installed on the customer’s house within a few days to a week.
