Rolltec is based in Vaughan, Ontario and provides a high quality product manufactured in Canada and has been in business since 1984. The frames are aluminum with a powder-coated finish and stainless steel fittings and do not rust. The aluminum excursions are thick and substantial, making for a strong high quality frame. Their most popular frame comes with a 10 year warranty, making it one of the longest warranties offered by an awning manufacturer. Other frame selections offer a 5 year warranty.
• Countless custom Applications & Installations We are able to work with your needs and vision for your deck or patio space to supply awning designs with side panels, retractable valances and custom valances for extra sun protection or privacy.
  We can also supply window awnings to shade large windows where there is no need for a true retractable system as used on a patio. These awnings act almost like an outdoor blind and extend out and down to provide up to 160 degrees of coverage. Roller screens or fabric screens that roll straight down to cover balcony openings for sun or rain protection or to provide privacy can be added to a deck of a home, condo or apartment.

Awnings Ltd offers a large selection of fabric choices, both solids and stripes, in a woven outdoor/marine grade acrylic from Rolltec’s fabric collection, sourced from European suppliers. The fabric has a 10 year serviceability warranty against flaws or breaking threads due to a manufacturing defect. With care and cleaning these fabrics will last 10 -20 years, depending on usage, weather and wind conditions in your specific area of installation.
• Peace of Mind Rolltec frames have a 5 or 10 year warranty. Spencer and Co Awnings Ltd will inspect and troubleshoot problems and source replacement parts or make repairs/adjustments as quickly as possible to get your awning back in service. Parts are available from Rolltec and can usually be obtained in one to two weeks. Once we have the parts the repair is done as quickly as possible to ensure you have the enjoyment of sun and rain protection restored as soon as possible. Unlike ordering a product on-line or from a company sourcing products from the United States or elsewhere, we are able to repair or replace broken parts and get your awning back in service. Product parts are available and a even 20 year old system can be repaired. If the fabric is too worn over time the frame can be recovered with a replacement fabric and you are not looking at a full replacement of the system. From time to time we recover frames that we did not supply and the material cover was an inferior quality fabric (nylon or vinyl). We will use a top quality fabric and the customer is back in business.
